China-South Korea Joint R&D Center for Intelligent Equipment

Co-established with the China-South Korea Innovation Cooperation Center for Emerging Industries, the "China-South Korea Joint R&D Center for Intelligent Equipment" has invested 20 million yuan in R&D funds. It has joined hands with enterprises including Samsung Heavy Industries and China First Heavy Industries to tackle key technologies of "large-scale intelligent welding robots". At present, the prototype testing has been completed, and industrialization is expected to be achieved in 2026, which will fill the gap in China’s reliance on imports for high-end welding equipment.
